She also criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom, claiming he ignored her requests for assistance following multiple swatting incidents at her Los Angeles home. Minaj said support she later received from Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna played a role in her decision to publicly back Trump.
The interview also touched on Minaj’s views on election integrity, former President Barack Obama, and Jay-Z. She said she feels happier and more authentic since making her political beliefs public.
