The ISF is expected to oversee peacekeeping operations in Gaza as part of the next stage of the ceasefire framework. While deployment timelines for the three countries remain unclear, diplomatic and military planning is already underway, the report said.
According to The Jerusalem Post, a small group of Moroccan planning officers has already arrived to participate in discussions related to the future force. These officers are not being deployed operationally into Gaza at this stage, but are instead involved in early-stage coordination and planning work. Officials cited in the report said the number of personnel involved is in the single digits.
The arrival of Moroccan officers is being viewed as an early practical step toward the formation of the multinational force, which has been discussed for months but has faced delays in implementation. Morocco had previously been identified as a key contributor to the ISF, and mid-January reporting indicated it could potentially coordinate efforts alongside Indonesia as one of the larger participating contributors.
The inclusion of Morocco, Albania, and Greece adds to a growing list of nations expected to support stabilization efforts in the post-conflict phase, though the exact mandate, rules of engagement, and deployment schedule for the ISF have not yet been publicly detailed.
