Recordings and private conversations leaked by Israeli Channel 12 have revealed derogatory remarks by Ziv Agmon, the de facto head of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office and his primary spokesman.
In the recordings, Agmon referred to Likud MKs of Moroccan descent as “baboons” and “Moroccan retards,” stating:
“Now we know where our Moroccans came from. From Africa. A baboon is a monkey.”
He also said Shas, a ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) religious-populist political party, “only knows how to take money.”
Agmon criticised the prime minister after the 7 October attacks, saying “Bibi is finished” and “he must go home, » claiming Netanyahu had received prior warning from Egypt.
He also claimed that Netanyahu’s son Yair pressured then‑foreign minister Eli Cohen to issue him a diplomatic passport without justification, and described several female MKs as “stupid.”
Agmon allegedly sought a spot on Benny Gantz’s party list, calling Gantz’s current MKs “monkeys.”
