Russia Issues Stark Warning: US and Israel Pushing Middle East Toward ‘Chain Reaction’ of War
Moscow – The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a strongly worded statement condemning the recent escalation of violence in the Middle East, directly accusing the United States and Israel of provoking a wider regional conflict and attempting to ignite a war between Arabs and Iranians.
In a declaration released earlier today, Moscow expressed its « deep concern » over the deteriorating security situation, describing the ongoing military operations as an illegitimate attempt to unseat the « legitimate government » of Iran under what it termed a « far-fetched pretext. »
The ministry alleged that Washington and Tel Aviv are showing no « signs of reason or willingness to stop the bloodshed, » pointing to reported Israeli ground incursions into Lebanon and a series of belligerent statements from Western and Israeli officials as evidence of an intent to expand, not contain, the conflict.
‘Sowing Discord’ During Ramadan
Beyond the immediate violence, the Russian statement leveled a serious accusation against the US and Israel, claiming they are deliberately attempting to sow discord within the Islamic world, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Moscow, the aggressors have « intentionally provoked Iran » into launching retaliatory strikes. While Russia noted that it « deeply regrets » that such Iranian responses have caused casualties and damage in certain Arab countries, it placed the ultimate blame for these incidents on the initial provocation by Washington and its allies.
« These efforts are designed to draw Arabs into a war by promoting an alien agenda, » the statement read, warning that this dynamic is dangerously diverting global attention away from the « catastrophic situation of the Palestinian people. »
A Call for Immediate De-escalation
Amid the escalating rhetoric, Russia reiterated its urgent call for all parties to cease hostilities immediately. The ministry specifically condemned what it described as « unacceptable strikes » targeting the territory of Arab states in the Persian Gulf.
Moscow emphasized that attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are absolutely impermissible, whether they occur in Iran or in the nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.
The core of Russia’s message was a warning against the « chain reaction » of violence currently unfolding. The Foreign Ministry argued that the only viable path to preventing the region from « sliding further towards instability » is a complete halt to the aggression it attributes to the United States and Israel.
« The suffering being spread among Arabs is a direct result of these actions, » the statement concluded, framing the crisis not as a series of isolated incidents, but as a interconnected conflict fueled by the policies of Washington and its allies.
